A few years ago, my dear friend and artist Ghadah Alkandari filled a turquoise Mashrabiya Notebook with beautiful designs and journal entries.  Eventually she was kind enough to share her beautiful work with me.  Her journal inspired the Mashrabiya Stories series: our square-shaped gold-edged patterned notebook as a creative journal.  Below are some of Ghada's beautiful entries.
